Fast-rising Dancehall artist Shanekia Morrison, more popularly known by her stage name Suspense has given her life to the Lord.
The 2017 Magnum Queen of Dancehall winner, got baptized with her fiancé at the Celebration Church in Portmore, Saint Catherine on Sunday, October 1.
Suspense took to social media on Monday to share the wonderful news with her fans and the reason she made the decision, “One week since me an my fiance got the ‘For Sale’ sign that Satan placed on our head removed by Jesus. Jesus redeemed us. Thank you Lord,” she wrote.
According to the artist she will be continuing her music journey but will be changing her message to reflect the new changes in her life.
“I will be deejaying for Jesus. I will not be doing any explicit or derogatory music but I will be doing dancehall/reggae gospel,” she said.
Suspense has since turned down several secular events.
