Vybz Kartel and his co-accused are said to be tensely awaiting the verdict in their appeal trial.

The fate of the incarcerated Dancehall superstar and his three co-accused rest in the balance as a three-judge panel deliberates the final verdict in their case in The Court of Appeal.

According to sources close to the Gaza camp, everyone is nervously awaiting the outcome of the trial, including the “Worl Boss” himself, as it remains largely unknown when a verdict will be reached.

Kartel’s camp says although they are confident with the case put forward by his attorneys during the appeal they also know that the system will try to keep the deejay down, so they are hoping for the best.

During the course of the appeal, judges listened to arguments from the defense claiming prosecutorial misconduct and perceived bias from the trial judge. The prosecution also hit back hard arguing that the men should not be freed as the evidence remains relevant.

Vybz Kartel and his co-accused Shawn “Shawn Storm” Campbell, Khaira Jones and Andre St. John were convicted in 2014 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
