Vybz Kartel has received his verified badge on popular social media app Instagram just hours after the incarcerated Dancehall superstar uploaded two now-viral selfies from prison.
The self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ posted a selfie early Thursday morning which shows a bearded Vybz Kartel smoking in the dark. “Dont drink and drive jus smoke and fly #GazaNation,” the post read.

That photo was followed by another selfie with a more serious Kartel which he captioned, “Hungry as f*ck!! ….”
Kartel was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2014 for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. He will not be eligible for parole until 2049, once he has served 35 years.
