Usain Bolt Gets Emmy Award Nomination

Usain Bolt was recently honoured by National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, for his role in animated film ‘The Boy Who Learned to Fly’.

The Jamaican track legend who is credited as an Executive producer on the project was nominated in the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program category, for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

‘The Boy Who Learned to Fly’ was released last year, commissioned by Sports drink brand Gatorade, is based on a true story of the life of Bolt and his Olympic journey.

Usain shared that he was humbled by the recognition, Tuesday morning via social media.
