Two men were shot, leaving one dead, in Maverley, St Andrew on Monday.
According to Police reports, around 9:30 pm, the two were shot after gunmen drove up in a motor car and opened fire on a group of people at a bar in the community.
The injured men were rushed to hospital where one man succumbed to his injuries. The other man remains in hospital in serious condition.
Residents of the community are reportedly on edge as this is the latest murder in and around Maverley over the last several days as a mechanic was gunned down in Elma Crescent earlier in the day.
