Usain Bolt has been left baffled after being handed a drug testing notice by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.

The 100-meter record holder may have quit athletics over a year ago but it seems that hasn’t prevented him from being subjected to a random drug test as he was recently served a notice by Football Federation Australia.

“So guys I’ve retired from track and field looking to become a footballer but look at this,” Bolt said Monday, via an Instagram video as he zoomed in on the notice.

“How am I going to get a drug test today? I’m not even a professional footballer yet. Seriously,” Bolt asked.

Bolt of course has been training with Australian outfit, Central Coast Mariners, in a bid to kickstart his dream of becoming a professional footballer but has yet to be offered a contract by the team.

“So I asked the lady, ‘Why am I getting drug tested when I haven’t signed for a club yet?’ and she said they told her I’m an elite athlete so I have to get tested. Okay then.”

The request comes just a week after the larger than life athlete scored his first two goals for the club during a friendly against Macarthur South West.
