Spice is gearing up to drop something big for Dancehall fans next week.
Over the last few days, the female entertainer has been uploading photos with the date March 9 on her Instagram account and story.
While the “Romantic Mood” singer is tight-lipped on what fans should expect next week, they are speculating that it could be a new mixtape or a diss track aimed at her current rival D’Angel.
Last year Spice shocked fans and made headlines across the world when she returned to Instagram with a much ‘lighter’ skin tone to promote her “Black Hypocrisy” track.
The “Queen of Dancehall” was recently featured in New York City-based independent magazine, PAPER.
Spice explained that she had used makeup to temporarily transform herself because she wanted to address and create an emotional discourse around the pervasive problem of colorism in the Black community.
“When I posted my picture with a Eurocentric standard of beauty, I was trying to prove a point. They make you feel like you have to look that way to be called beautiful or to be considered a pretty girl,” Spice said.
