Popcaan is calling for more unity among Dancehall artistes following the successful release of his sophomore album “Forever.”

The “Firm and Strong” deejay has called on his Dancehall compatriates to show more unity within the genre to help it reach further, pointing out how Hip Hop artistes frequently support each other despite rivalries.

According to the deejay, he is somewhat disappointed by the lack of support he received locally from fellow Dancehall acts leading up to his album release, pointing out that he actually got more support from overseas.

“The hip-hop industry is not like that, them show love to each other… Me see people from overseas a post my album cover more than all dancehall artistes. Them thing there stupid,” the deejay claims.
