Mr. Vegas held a  prayer vigil in memory of 2-year-old Demario Whyte who was slain in Kingston last month.

The recently converted Christian is keeping his promise which he made to the Lord to serve him whole-heartedly, he announced via social media that he had decided to answer Jesus’ calling. The deejay said he had a scary flight experience while travelling to France and he promised to give his life to the Lord if he arrived safely at his destination.

The Prayer Vigil was held in the on September 1st between the hours of 4:30 – 7:00 pm in the Luke Lane Community where gunmen opened fire on both Demario and his father. Supporters came out in numbers with candles and flowers in memory of the toddler.

Vegas expressed that what the gunmen did to the child was heartless and barbaric and something needs to be done to prevent the killing of children in Jamaica.

The “Heads High deejay seems to be following the righteous path after recently feuding with several other recording artistes.
