Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall producers have denied allegations that the show was somehow rigged.

Mark Kenny, the executive producer of the show has rebuffed claims that the show was was rigged, or that the voting process was somehow compromised to allow Japanese artist Rankin Pumpkin to progress.

Many fans had accused the production team of rigging the female section of the competition after Japanese contestant Rankin Pumpkin made it all the way to the finals despite popular opinion.

These claims were however quickly rubbished by Kenny, who pointed out that it is near impossible for the competition to be rigged as the results are purely decided by public vote.

He was also quick to point out that even if the Japanese contestant did in fact try to compromise the voting process by spending millions on credit,  it would have been flagged.

According to Kenny, Pumpkin had the strong backing of fans back in her homeland of Japan. He also reveled that unlike many other contestants she had no problem funding her promotion as she was assisted by her family, who own a car dealership in Japan.

Rankin Pumpkin took to social media earlier this week following her loss to eventual winner Suspense claiming that she was threatened and racially abused by some fans throughout the course of the competition.
