The assault case involving popular business man Corey Todd and dancehall artiste Devin Di Dakta has been postponed until 2017.
The case was reportedly postponed following the absence of Todd from the island. His lawyer, Peter Champagnie, revealed that the popular businessman was off the island caring for his mother who is not well.
Todd was charged with malicious destruction of property and assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to a alleged beating incident which occurred outside his Taboo nightclub in Kingston back in January.
A new hearing date of January 25 has been scheduled.
