Buju Banton made his first public appearance over the weekend.
On Saturday night, the Reggae icon attended Stone Love’s 46th anniversary event inside Sabina Park, Kingston.
In acknowledgement of Buju Banton’s presence, Stone Love’s Randy Rich paid the Gargamel tribute with Stone Love dubplates voiced by the Grammy-winning entertainer, some in collaboration with singer Wayne Wonder.
Buju Banton returned to Jamaica earlier this month after serving a near 10-year sentence on drug-related charges. The Grammy-winning artiste is gearing up for his first performance in Jamaica set for March 16 at the National Stadium in St Andrew.
Tickets for the highly anticipated event will go on sale January 16.
