Buju Banton has continued to dominate headlines following his release.
After spending nearly a decade in prison, Buju Banton made a triumphant return to the industry in 2019, dominating headlines.
The Reggae superstar’s return was one of the biggest topics last year. He managed to Drop new hits and sell-out stadiums during his “Long Walk To Freedom” tour.
Buju had fans in anticipation as he managed to stay out of the public spotlight up until his first performance.
His first performance, which was in Kingston at the National Stadium back in March, kick-started his world-wide tour.
However, Buju’s massive success with concerts was not the end, as he also surprised fans with new music.
In 2019 Buju released three tracks, “Steppa,” “Country for Sale,” and “Trust.” The latter has since emerged as the biggest hit of the three. It eventually became one best selling singles on the Reggae Digital Sales Billboard Chart.
Earlier this month Buju again sent tongues wagging following his masterful performance aboard on the “Welcome to Jamrock Cruise.”
According to sources close to the superstar, this is just the beginning as Buju has much more in store for fans in the coming year.
