Fans are said to be eagerly anticipating the release of incarcerated Dancehall superstar Buju Banton, who is set to be freed in December after spending the last 9 years in a United States prison on drug-related charges.

The Dancehall icon’s impending release has perhaps prompted several promoters to begin formulating plans for a historic return to the stage, but they could be in for a treat as at least one other musical legend has expressed an eagerness to share a stage with the deejay.

Buju’s frequent collaborator and musical colleague Beres Hammond has come out expressing his eagerness to share the stage with ‘Gargamel’ upon his return to Jamaican soil.

Beres, who shares an undeniable chemistry with the “Driver” deejay is said to be eying the opportunity as a special reunion with his longtime friend and collaborator.

The prospect of having both superstars who have collaborated on some the genres biggest hits such as “Pull It Up,” “Who Say” and “My Woman Now” sharing a stage together once again could prove a memorable experience for fans.

Fans are said to be craving the return of the “Wanna Be Loved” crooner who is set to be released in December 2018.
