A’Mari plead guilty to all charges when she appeared before the St James Parish Court on Wednesday, August 12.

The “Baby Come Back” singer was arrested and charged for breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act earlier this month.

A’mari, also known as DJ Mona Lisa arrested was after authorities spotted her at several places following her recent arrival to Jamaica from the United States. The singer was slapped with charges on after she was found in breach of a self quarantine order.

Gully Bop’s former lover was also charged for using indecent language after she used expletives while speaking to law enforcement officers during an interview.

The social media personality-turned-recording artiste, real name Veneice Fung-Chung was fined JMD $22,000 when she appeared in front the judge.

“Receipt of fine for A’mari “DJ Mona-Lisa” paid to the Montego Bay court. A’mari plead guilty to charges of obscene language and breaking quarantine order to attend to business matters including interviews,” she wrote. “The singer was betrayed by her own entourage who reported her to the ministry of health after a dispute in regards the mishandling of her career. A’mari received a business approval to visit Jamaica but the ministry insist that they expected her to conduct business from her hotel room.”
