Dancehall artiste Aidonia is currently mourning the untimely death of his grandmother, Hortense ‘Mama Dell’ Johnson at her home in Dallas Castle, St Andrew, Jamaica.
Johnson passed away in her sleep last Wednesday at approximately 7:33 a.m, she was 83 years old. According to Aidonia’s representative, the deejay was off the island at the time and is deeply saddened by her sudden passing, “Aidonia and his grandmother were very close so he is taking her death hard,” the rep added.
Meanwhile, the family has asked members of the media, entertainment fraternity and the wider public to respect his privacy and that of the family as they grieve the loss of their beloved grandmother.
