A man was killed in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Jonathan Eccleston, also known as ‘Solid’, an ex-convict from Linstead, St Catherine. He was released from prison last December.
According to reports, Eccleston was walking along a dirt track located beside the Olympic Garden Civic Centre about 6:15 pm when gunmen pounced him and he was shot multiple times.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
