Ladasha ‘Mackerel’ Francis gets emotional in her second official single titled “Hear My Cry.”
The social media sensation-turned-recording artiste linked up with VKC Powerhouse Entertainment for the motivational track.
In the single, Mackerel details her struggles growing up as she speaks about not getting any love and support from her mother, getting kicked out at age 15 and being forced to live with men.
“Lord hear my cry / Lord feel my pain / I thank you for life / I thank you for life, i thank you for strength,” Mackerel sings over the beat. “The struggle is real, but i’m stronger now / I’m a big girl now (x2) / To judge people is a sin,” she continues.
