The 13-year-old child who was witnessed being beaten by her mother with a machete in a shocking viral video which emerged on social media earlier this week has come out to her defence saying she is “one of the best mothers I know in the world.”
The child expressed deep regret during a recent interview on Hitz 92 FM after her mother was placed in police custody following the emergence of the shocking video footage which caused public outrage.
According to the child, she is not fearful of incurring her mother’s wrath again as she intends to behave herself, and also made it very clear that she would like to remain in her mother’s care.

The child also denied accusations that she was the person speaking sexually on a recording which emerged on social media earlier this week, claiming to be the reason she was reprimanded.
The woman was taken into police custody after cops and officers from the Child Development Agency (CDA) questioned both her and the child. The child has since been released in the care of her aunt.
