Koffee thanked the veterans in the Reggae industry during her acceptance speech on Sunday.

Koffee won the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album with her Rapture project.

The 19-year-old, real name Mikayla Simpson, created history becoming the youngest solo Reggae artiste and female to win the category.

While accepting the award, Koffee thanked everyone that “made rapture what it is today.” She paid respects to Julian Marley, Steel Pulse, Sly & Robbie and Morgan Heritage for their hardworking making Reggae a global brand.

“This one is for all of us, this one is for Reggae, this one is for Jamaica…. Thank you very much,” Koffee added.
