Koffee Creates History With 2020 Grammy ‘Best Reggae Album’ Win

Congratulations to Koffee on winning the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.

The 19-year-old, real name Mikayla Simpson, created history becoming the youngest solo Reggae artiste and female to win the category.

Koffee won the Grammy Award for her debut project Rapture.

Mass Manipulation by Steel Pulse, As I Am by Julian Marley, The Final Battle: Sly & Robbie vs Roots Radics by Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics and More Work to be Done by Third World, were also nominated.

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held on Sunday January 26, 2020, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. It recognized the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019.
