Vybz Kartel is strengthening his ties with the second city and is set to release a brand new track.
Last week the incarcerated Dancehall superstar previewed a new single which is produced by fast-rising Montego Bay-based producer, Shabdon Records.
“Yow Shabdon, yo know how the thing go inno, the whole a Portmore and the whole a St. James, remember we when we gone we live forever, Salt Spring,” Kartel said in the introduction.
The highly anticipated track will be available on Vybz Kartel’s VEVO and other streaming services later this week. Over the weekend Vybz Kartel dropped a new collaboration titled “Can’t Be The Same” with Squash, one of the new talents emerging from Western Jamaica.
Vybz Kartel is currently awaiting the verdict in his appeal trial however that won’t stop him from putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming album “Exiled Pharoah” due later this year. The project is produced by Linton “TJ” White, the head of TJ Records.
