Vybz Kartel Makes It Clear That He Wants Nothing To Do With Popcaan

Vybz Kartel’s fans have keenly taken note of him snubbing his former protege Popcaan following his 42nd birthday celebrations last Sunday.

The incarcerated deejay was heavily celebrated on social media last Sunday, with fans and entertainers alike wishing the “Worl Boss” a happy birthday, many of which the deejay’s official Instagram actually acknowledged with a notable exception.

Eagle eyed fans were quick to point out that the “Mhm Hmm” deejay publicly acknowledged the well wishes of several entertainers including Sean Kingston, Not Nice, Spice and Tommy Lee Sparta but snubbed the birthday greeting from his former protege Popcaan.

Popcaan was blasted by gaza fans over the weekend after the deejay took to Instagram last Sunday to pay respect for his former mentor by posting a photo of himself and the deejay with the caption “1time fi a real G long live.. #morelife.”

Fans were quick to bash the “Unruly Boss,” labeling him as “ungrateful” and “hypocritical,” claiming that he only acknowledges Vybz Kartel’s name to maintain a hype.

One fan wrote went even further to say “The boss like everybody posts except for yours yo no have no shame, come off a the man name and stop post up picture with the boss like you and him a friend.”

The two superstars have reportedly been at odds since Vybz Kartel’s 2011 incarceration, with fans labeling the “Unruly” deejay as a “sell out.”
