Vybz Kartel fans Upset Following Diana King Criticism

Vybz Kartel fans are not pleased with Diana King’s latest statements.

Diana King has managed to anger the “Gaza Nation” with critical statements, seemingly directed at Vybz Kartel.

Despite not explicitly naming Vybz Kartel, King raised some eyebrows as she blasted the Jamaican penal system.

According to the “Shy Guy” singer, she is flabbergasted at how the Jamaican penal system allows convicted criminals to record music from behind bars.

“I’ll never be able to ignore the fact that a convicted artiste/prisoner serving time, be it for murder or rape, can still record and release music from prison in Jamaica. How do you all do it? Is it because it wasn’t you who was raped or your loved one killed?” King said.

The singer’s statements come just days after Vybz Kartel released his latest studio album “To Tanesha.”

Fans have since taken to social media to voice their opinions on her statements, with many seemingly not pleased.

“Yuh need fi go mind yuh ownna business and lowe the worl boss yuh hear!,” one angry fan declared, while another added, “A tru dem see the boss ting still a shot mek dem badmind.”

Despite the criticism, prison authorities have repeatedly denied giving Kartel special privileges to record music.

Gladstone Wright, the music producer and conceptualizer of the Rehabilitation of Offenders through Music programme at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre, has since dissociated himself from Palmer’s recent release, insisting that the popular artiste is not a participant.

However, Wright did reveal that Kartel had recently expressed an interest in signing up for the program.

“I heard by the way that he has had a change of heart and has said that given the opportunity, he would be willing to contribute to the programme,” Wright claimed.
