Vybz Kartel earns Jamaica’s most expensive trial, deejay reportedly paid $40 Million

Vybz Kartel knows how to set records as according to new reports the Incarcerated Dancehall superstar had the most expensive trial in the history of Jamaica.

Sources close to Kartel, real name Adidja Azim Palmer claims the artiste paid his legal team which is lead by Tom Tavares-Finson over $40 Million JMD. The ‘Fever’ deejay high profile murder case which lasted 65 days also previously made history becoming the longest murder trial in Jamaica.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel who was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole in 35 years for the murder Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams is currently set to start his appeal and the deejay is very confident he’ll be free this year.
