Vybz Kartel comes through with a new lyric video for his “Weh Daddy Deh” single.
The incarcerated Dancehall deejay dedicated the video to his kids, “Dedicated to my children who miss their father #FreeWorldBoss,” a message read at the beginning on the visuals.
Weh Daddy Deh is produced in collaboration with Dunwell Productions and Vybz Kartel Muzik.
“Weh mi daddy deh? Mommy weh mi daddy deh? / She says “Go sidung nuh”… “Likkle boy go sidung nuh” x2 / Ghetto youth have it harder, father never did around fi see son nor daughter / Baby girl, baby girl its a wild world with no daddy, no daddy deh beside her,” Kartel sings over the beat.
Vybz Kartel is currently awaiting a verdict in his appeal trial. The Dancehall superstar along with fellow entertainer Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell and Andre St John were convicted for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams in April 2014 and they were handed mandatory life sentences.
