Vybz Kartel Dominates At YVAs 2017, Deejay Wins Five Awards

Popular Entertainer Vybz Kartel continues his Dancehall dominance from behind bars.

The self-proclaimed “Worl Boss” won five awards Saturday night at the 2017 staging of the Youth View Awards (YVAs). The “Fever” hit maker who was nominated in seven categories won awards for; Favorite Dancehall Artiste, Favorite local artiste, Best Collaboration, Best summer song and Top Chart Topping Song.

The YVAs was launched in 2008 with a mandate to appreciate the Jamaican entertainment culture, this year marked the 10th anniversary for the award show and was held at the National Indoor Sports Arena in St Andrew.
