Vybz Kartel & Alkaline’s albums off Billboard chart

Dancehall artistes Vybz Kartel and Alkaline failed to chart on this week’s top ten Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

Kartel’s ‘King Of The Dancehall’ album earned the biggest first-week sales for a dancehall artiste since Beenie Man’s ‘Undisputed’ album in 2006. The 14-track project which was produced by TJ records sold 1,867 copies the first week of it’s release (June 10) and made it’s debut at No.2 on the chart.

While Alkaline’s ‘New Level Unlocked’ album which made it’s debut at No.1 secured a place in the top ten over a few months.
