Usain Bolt Donates $1 Million After Deadly Fire In Kingston

Usain Bolt is set to donate JMD $1 million to assist the wards of the state who were displaced following a deadly fire Walker’s Place of Safety at 17 Lyndhurst Crescent in Kingston on Monday night.

According to chairman of the Usain Bolt Foundation, Winsome Wilkins, the Jamaican sprint legend was sadden by the tragedy at the home, which killed two and displaced 34 wards.

The donation will be done early next week to the Child Development Agency (CDA).

Launched in 2011, the Usain Bolt Foundation targets children and their particular needs.
