Tony Matterhorn has defended his actions following a confrontation between himself and Dancehall artist Alkaline at the deejay’s 24th birthday celebration party in Florida.

According to the veteran Dancehall disc jockey, he absolutely made the right decision to play off the situation as he could have easily further fuelled tensions by responding to the deejay’s statements but decided to be the bigger man.

Vybz Kartel Reacts To Alkaline Brawl With Tony Matterhorn

Matterhorn was confronted by the Dancehall superstar last weekend after he played a Vybz Kartel track “Highest Level,” which is perceived to be a diss track aimed at the “Champion Boy” deejay.

Alkaline and his entourage confronted the veteran disc jock, grabbing the microphone and saying “Know weh yah do enuh, badness it name, doh gwan like you wan style the thing because mi can style the thing too, but fi the love of mi fans mi nah guh do that, but yah p* fi dat weh yuh just do.”

The incident sparked a whirlwind of commentary from social media users, with many labelling Matterhorn’s reactions as a weak one, however, he firmly disagreed as he believes a more aggressive reaction would have led to something entirely different outcome which would look bad on the Dancehall community overall.
