Tommy Lee Sparta Surprisingly Defends His Longtime Rival Alkaline

Despite releasing a slew of diss tracks aimed at Alkaline, Tommy Lee Sparta is now surprisingly coming to his defense.

The Sparta deejay surprisingly came to the defense of his fierce rival Alkaline earlier this week after he made claims that police continue to unfairly target Dancehall artists, including himself and the vendetta deejay.

Reggae Sumfest Address Tommy Lee Sparta claims of Sabotage by Alkaline & Mavado

According to the “Savage Life” deejay, cops continually target Jamaican artists, such as himself and Alkaline, branding them as criminals despite the fact that they had no previous run ins with the law before they became superstars.

The deejay pointed to the recent police scrutiny of his rival Alkaline, who was in February detained for five days in relation to a murder investigation into the shooting death of Rohan Morris. He claims the deejay is from a good background, with good education, and as soon as he becomes a Dancehall artist he is targeted.

The deejay added that he has been treated in a similar fashion, as he had to endure months of performance bans across the island, with cops continually linking his name to criminal activities.

Tommy Lee Sparta is currently battling lottery scamming charges, and is scheduled to return to court on October 13.
