Tanaania Tracey Says She Tested Positive For COVID-19 In New YouTube Video

Popular entrepreneur-turned-YouTuber Tanaania Tracey says she has tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus.

Tanaania shared the news with fans during her lasted YouTube video uploaded on November 6. According to the Shop Necessits owner, she started experiencing symptoms on October 21 when she wanted to record a cooking video with another social media influencer.

The initial symptoms included a headache, tiredness and burning eyes, Tanaania said she started taking multisymptom medication as she wasn’t aware that she contracted the virus.

She then began to experience shortness of breath, sneezing and a stuffy nose until subsequently loss of taste which prompted her to do a coronavirus test after consulting with a friend.

The rapid test revealed that she had contracted the virus. Tanaania uploaded the video over a week after getting her positive result and told fans that she has since tested negative along with her close contacts.

She warned viewers to follow COVID-19 protocols and said despite the negative test, she will be completing her 14 day quarantine.
