Promoters of Reggae Sting dubbed the “Greatest One Night Reggae Show On Earth,” have pulled the plug on the 2016 staging which was slated for Boxing Day, December 26.
Isaiah Laing And Heavy D told Onstage TV’s Winford Williams earlier this week that the reason is due to them failing to book headline performers for the event.

However when asked if hot artistes weren’t interested in working on the show, Heavy D says the so-called ‘hot artistes’ currently in Dancehall always give trouble. While Laing added that, these ‘nowadays hot artiste’ simply cannot pull a crowd. According to Laing, incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel is the only artiste who could bring the crowd at Sting, no other acts can.
