Recording artiste Spice is in a celebratory mood after she recently became the first female dancehall artiste to collectively score 120 million views on Youtube’s VEVO.
The impressive feat was largely due to her smash single “So Mi Like It,” which was produced by Notnice Records. The dancehall hit racked up over 66 million views on the social platform for the raunchy female lyricist, making it one of the most viewed dancehall hits.
Although the single was largely successful on social platforms, Spice feels it did not achieve its commercial potential, as it lacked backing from a major label. The “Needle eye” deejay feels that the song could have gone on to crack the Billboard charts if it was given a major boost.
