Bob Marley is now the latest addition to the hilarious Bernie Sanders memes that dominated social media this week.
United States politician Bernie Saunders became a viral sensation after last Wednesday’s inauguration day.
The senior politician was trolled on social media, with thousands of variations of his standout photo at the ceremony.
On Thursday Rita Marley got in on the act, by sharing the meme of Bernie sitting beside Bob Marley. She jokingly captioned the photo “From the archives? 😎”
In the meme, a warmly-clad Sanders is seen wearing a Burton parka, mittens and mask while an image of the iconic Marley is superimposed next to him.
The photo attracted thousands of reactions from fans who flocked to her Instagram account. “Best one anyone could make! 😂😂😂😂 no one can top this one 😍😇😍,” one fan laughed hysterically.
Another fan would go on to add, “Rita!! Bob n Bernie a dynamic duo!” while another joked, “😂😂😂😂😂 definitely from the archives.”
However, there were some fans who did not think the King of Reggae’s image should be mixed with the politician’s. “Bob marley wasnt for politicians,” one fan lamented.
This was not the only mark Bob Marley made as his hit “Could You Be Loved” was also apart of the official playlist for the ceremony.
