A new list has surfaced online showing the top five most streamed artists currently in the Dancehall industry and social media users aren’t here for it.
The list was revealed last week by fast-rising Dancehall singjay, Shenseea.
Vendetta deejay Alkaline secured the top spot with 726,054 streams, while his longtime rival Vybz Kartel is at second with 668,413.
The list continues with Masicka at the third position with almost 500,000 views, Popcaan with 393,430 and Shenseea holding the 5th position with 392,549.
Dancehall fans quickly chimed in on the statistics as many were shocked that Alkaline was being streamed more than Vybz Kartel. Others also pointed out that the new Queen of Dancehall, Spice never made the cut.
