Sean Kingston visits Vybz Kartel in Prison, talks about new single and appeal

Jamaican singer Sean Kingston has been all about the Gaza since his recent collaboration with incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel.

The new track titled “Chance” is already making waves on the local dancehall scene and radio stations since it’s release last week. Kingston also shot the official music video “Pon Di Gaza” in Portmore, Saint Catherine just hours after releasing the track, so to celebrate he visited the self-proclaimed “Worl Boss” at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre on Wednesday.

According to sources the two spoke about how well their new single was doing, future collaborations and Kartel’s upcoming appeal. “They sit down and chopped things about about how well the new collaboration doing and talk about collaborating some more,” sources said. “They also spoke about the upcoming appeal and Kingston told him that he has his full support in sorting out the case,” they added.

Kingston is also making rounds online after a now-viral video surfaced with him taking shots of Vendetta deejay Alkaline at weekly Dancehall series “Magnum Wednesdayz.” The two previously worked together back in 2015 for the remix of “Ride On Me.”
