Rapper, songwriter and television personality, Safaree Samuels has finally been accepted by the Jamaican people.

The Love & Hip Hop: New York star got his ‘Yaad Man’ stamp of approval on earlier this week after uploaded a throwback photo with his sisters in Jamaica.

“Childhood in Jamaica ?? is a 1 of a kind experience ??? me & my sisters @neequa_09@da_herbalist I wonder what my mother was doing ?,” wrote under a the photo which sees him sitting in a mental bath pan.

“Officially accepted!!,” one Jamaican wrote online. “Really cute how he shared this. Many don’t remember where they’re coming from,” another added.

“Real yawd man thing this ???? who ago sah him ano Jamaican now?? ?
Coz him pass officially ????????????,” the comments continued.

Safaree Samuels traces his Jamaican roots to the parish of Hanover and always represents the island using his platform and brand. Last month the “No Regular Girl” rapper visited the Merlene Ottey High School where he promised to donate much needed computers and new music equipment to aid the students holistic development.
