Popcaan’s longtime friend was reportedly killed at his Cherry Gardens house on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Junior Thompson, more popularity known as Shagel of Prospect District in St Thomas. Thompson’s body was found lying in a pool of blood in a room on the property by workmen about 8:30 a.m.

Initial reports indicate that he was murdered during a home invasion. Its alleged that armed men entered the “Family” deejay’s residence, hoping to commit a robbery, when they stumbled upon Thompson.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) confirmed the incident and say investigations are ongoing.
