Nicki Minaj And Safaree Back At It Again

Nicki Minaj and her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels took to Twitter on Tuesday to air some grievances.

The back-and-forth began when Minaj’s lengthy interview with radio station Hot 97 came out and she addressed her relationship with Samuels, as well as what it means to be a female rapper and deal with ghostwriting accusations.

In a slew of tweets, the ‘Stunt Gang’ rapper’s most serious allegation was that Minaj assaulted him during an altercation. “Remember the night you cut me and I almost died,” he tweeted. “The police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail. When things like that start happening more than once it’s time to dip.”

However Nicki Minaj wasn’t having it, accusing Samuels of theft.

“U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with “free money” that I didn’t know about,” she tweeted. “On God. God will strike you down & more for lying. Ha! Stop saying u packed & left ! On Jesus u came to my house CRYING BEGGING to go w/ me to Europe to the EMA’s. I said NO DUMMY.”

Samuels denied stealing her credit card, and told her to let it go and denying in a NSFW tweet that he used her credit card to hire prostitutes. He also denied that he’d begged to go to Europe with her, claiming she was in a “full blown relationship (with rapper Meek Mill) towards the end of ours.”

The exchange got so heated that Maury Povich had to step in and offered to solve their beef on his how, “You are making me dizzy with all this back and forth. The only way you are going to solve this beef is to let me hook you up to my lie detector test,” he wrote.
