Nick Cannon says Vybz Kartel played a major role in his movie from Prison

American Rapper, Actor/Director Nick Cannon is giving high praises to incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel.

According to Cannon, the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ played a major role in his new ‘King Of The Dancehall’ movie helping him with the story for the film from behind bars. Cannon added that while Kartel, who is currently serving a life sentence for murder, is not in the show his new music is featured.

Cannon directs and stars in this high-energy musical about a young man from Brooklyn who gets caught up in the vibrant Kingston music scene during a visit to Jamaica. The movie stars Oscar, Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Whoopi Goldberg, Lou Gossett Jr, Busta Rhymes, Amber Rose, Kreesha Turner, Raddy Rich, Nikki Z, Beenie Man, Collie Buddz and many more, with a host of Jamaica’s top dancers.
