Michael B Jordan and several other actors appear in a public service announcement titled “Against The Wall,” addressing the seriousness of racism in police shootings.
The PSA which is 4 minutes long was created in partnership with civil rights activist and musician Harry Belafonte’s organization, Sankofa and directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.
Starring alongside Michael B Jordan is Danny Glover, Michelle K. Williams, Marc Lamont Hill, Sophia Dawson, Sydney G. James, Van Jones and rapper Mysonne; collectively, they help to deliver one message, “Black is not a weapon.” The short video shows the actors up against a wall while news reports and 911 calls from recent police brutality killings can be heard in the background.
