Mavado has received $8 Million from embattled attorney at law Jennifer Messado out of a total sum of $30.7 Million owed to him.

According to the Dancehall superstar attorney, Tamika Harris, the partial payment was recently made after Messado’s decision not to file a defense in the civil case submitted against her.

However, Harris went on to emphasize that her client is not fully satisfied with the payment as Messado only paid out $8 Million of the total $30.7 Million owed to the Dancehall superstar.

Messado is currently before the courts on several fraud charges, including the deejay’s case.

Mavado Returns To Jamaica

According to reports, the “Progress” deejay paid Messado $30.7 million for a property through his attorney. They reportedly signed a sales agreement and several other documents, however, it was later discovered that the property was not for sale.

Mavado recently returned to the island to oversee the completion of his upscale apartment complexes in Kingston following months of controversy surrounding a shooting incident and his son’s subsequent arrest for murder.
