Former Jamaica national football player Luton Shelton has shared his battle since being diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also called Lou Gherigs Disease.
Fans recently learned of the former Reggae Boy’s medical condition following a recent interview which was aired on TVJ.
The footballer, who is Jamaica’s all-time leading goal scorer, recently sat down for an emotional interview with his family where they disclosed the athlete’s physical struggles since being diagnosed with the disease.
Government Commits $5 Million Towards Luton Shelton’s Medical Bills
Shelton’s condition had begun showing signs as early as 2016 but he was only diagnosed with the deadly disease last August. Since then, the footballer has since seen his physical mobility and speech severely affected.
