Lil Wayne’s Universal Music lawsuit halted

Rapper Lil Wayne‘s ongoing feud with Birdman has halted his lawsuit against Universal Music Group.

The ‘Lollipop’ rapper is suing for the UMG millions however according to the company, Weezy must first sort out his differences with Cash Money boss Birdman before they can reach a settlement, a judge as since agreed.

Lil Wayne filed the lawsuit earlier this year claiming that he wasn’t being paid over $20 Million in royalties for the artistes signed to his Young Money imprint such as rappers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is also suing Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million that he claimed he is owed for his albums, he’s also requesting a judge to release him from his contract with the record label.
