Kurtici creating buzz with Real Way

Dancehall artiste Kurtici is upbeat about his latest single Real Way. The song was derived from a popular slang, and it has now evolved into a dance. It has been making the rounds on radio and in the dancehall.

“The inspiration for the song is my idea. I have been using the ‘real way’ and I decided to turn it into a dance,” said Kurtici.

Real Way is produced by Uploud Records.

Kurtici was born in Kingston but relocated to Brixton in the United Kingdom in the 1990s. He later returned to pursue his musical aspirations with the hope of making a name for himself on the local music scene.

Since his return, he has worked with a number of producers including Anchor, Cash Flow Records, and Armzhouse Records.

‘I made the decision to record and release my songs from Jamaica because dancehall music is Jamaican culture. And so as a Jamaican feel I need to represent the real way’, said Kurtici.

He continued ‘Right now I see myself as a vibrant artiste with street flow and the authentic dancehall status, and entertaining’.

Now working with a capable team, which comprises experts in the music industry, Kurtici, is optimistic about making a breakthrough.

Born Kerrick Bartley, it was during his teenage years that Kurtici began an enduring love affair with music. Like most young boys in his community, he would listen to dancehall tapes with his friends. This helped to fuel his desire to become a dancehall artist. At the age of sixteen, he took the plunge and made his debut by performing at an event in his community, since then there has been no turning back for him.
