Chozenn Finally Shares Why He Remixes Popular Dancehall Songs

Chozenn Says that his controversial remakes to popular Dancehall songs are winning souls for God.

According to the Gospel singer, traditional hymns and songs are no longer working in today’s society. He claims that Christians need to embrace new methods of spreading the word of God.

In recent months the former Magnum Kings & Queens contestant was heavily criticized following his controversial remake to Dovey Magnum’s Dacehall hit single “Bawl Out.” However he claims the song helped to tackle a sex demon spirit which was loose in the country.

Chozenn made headlines earlier this week after the deejay teased a Gospel remix to Rygin King’s popular hit single “Tuff.”

Dovey Magnum Finally Comments On Chozenn’s “Bawl Out” Remake

According to Chozenn, he will continue to tap into the dancehall culture in a bid to win more souls for Christ as the days of Moses and David are long gone and Christians need to adopt more innovative this new age.

The entertainer recently became the first Jamaican Gospel artist in several years to score over a million views on YouTube but claims will not release his remixes for sale as their sole purpose is to spread the word of God.

Despite the public backlash for both singles to date, the entertainer claims he is not daunted by opinion as even Jesus Christ himself was beaten for his good deeds.
