Jamaican woman busted with $90k worth of cocaine in US airport

A Jamaican woman was detained by US Customs and Border Protection after $90,000 worth of cocaine was reportedly found in her suitcase at BWI airport in Maryland.

According to a statement by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 30-year-old Jamaican national Trudian James was detained after 3 pounds of cocaine was discovered in the bottom of her suitcase on Monday afternoon.

The woman was taken in for screening after her suitcase appeared unusually thick. The drugs were discovered after a x-ray scan.

The woman who reportedly originates from the parish of Hanover in Jamaica, was arrested and turned over the Maryland State Police.
