Foota Hype Diss Vybz Kartel Over New Squash Collab – Say He’s No Dancehall King

Foota Hype is calling out Vybz Kartel and Squash over their new “Beat Dem Bad” collaboration.

The self-proclaimed Dancehall Prime Minister said during an Instagram live session earlier this week that Kartel and the Montego Bay-based deejay are nasty and damaging the reputation of Dancehall.

Similarly to Shenseea’s “Blessed” music video with American rapper Tyga, Foota Hype said Vybz Kartel and Squash’s “Beat Dem Bad” visuals openly promotes lesbian acts.

Foota, whose real name is Oneil Thomas, blasted Vybz Kartel during the lengthy rant and made it clear that he is no Dancehall king or hero.

Beat Dem Bad visuals were shot on location in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Directed by Wikid Media JA, starts with Squash waking up in a luxury beach villa filled with banging ladies.

The “Money Fever” deejay later hit the streets with his crew for a local event which saw 6ix member Chronic Law making a cameo. Watch video here.
