Driver in Rio Cobre accident charged with six counts of manslaughter

Police have charged the driver of the vehicle in the June 16 Rio Cobre accident with six counts of manslaughter, he was charged for having no Driver’s Licence and no insurance coverage.
The man has been identified as El Fargo Slew of a St. Catherine Address.
According to reports, the driver allegedly attempted to overtake a line of traffic at the infamous Flat Bridge, he then reportedly lost control of the vehicle and plunged into the Rio Cobre killing six of his passengers.
Slew escaped the accident and later turned himself into police custody. One other also person survived.
Slew was pointed out by an eyewitness at the Portmore Police station during an Identification parade on Friday.
